Description
Introducing Platinum - A classic, simple, light gray Lil Joey cloth diaper. The Lil Joey is a newborn diaper designed to fit from approximately 4-12lbs. Kanga Care brand cloth diapers are the ORIGINAL and ONLY cloth diapers uniquely designed with the patented leak protection technology of dual inner gussets. The inside of each diaper is designed with 2 gentle inner gussets, a double barrier that channels each leg. There is no chance of escape for even the messiest of messes! The Lil Joey takes special care with a snap down front for sensitive cord care during those first precious days.
The Lil Joey is the simplest of diaper systems on the market for a newborn baby. The internal soaker is 4 layers of thirsty microfiber that have been permanently sewn into the core of the diaper, no stuffing required. The Lil Joey is waterproof and requires no cover. Kanga Care uses a water resistant polyester TPU which a is solvent-free polyester fabric that has been laminated with a thermoplastic polyurethane using a heat bonding process, not chemicals. This process is low in toxicity and is better for the natural environment then traditional PUL. One of the most important decisions new parents face, just got easier!

I wanted to start using cloth as soon as my baby was born, these lil joeys made that so easy! I was new to the whole cloth thing and using these diapers made cloth diapering a newborn super simple.
I really wanted to like these diapers. The fit is great and I LOVE the fold down for the umbilical stump. It just leaked soooooo much and no matter how many times I washed these diapers they would not stop leaking. So cute though and fit great.
Fit was good, they look really cute. Baby was born at 8lb 5oz and they fit for a little over a month. They are harder to clean than the one size and they take longer to dry.
LOVE these diapers. These fit a newborn perfectly, which means that they won't last more than a few weeks to a few months, depending on your baby. These are my favorite newborn diaper. We haven't had any blow outs or leaks, and they feel drier than all of the other types of diapers we use on our little one (excluding disposable). They are so easy to use and actually dry faster than other AIO brands that we have.
Absolutely LOVE my lil joeys! I purchased both lil joeys and prefolds with covers prior to my little one being born. Once she made her debut, we were slightly overwhelmed and started off using disposables with the plan that we would start cloth after the meconium was gone. I was hesitant due to the fact that it was all so new so we decided to start slow and just use the lil joeys at first. We fell in love with them! They are SO easy - just like disposables, but without the harsh chemicals. The inner material is so insanely soft against my baby's bum. She is exclusively breast fed and while we did have a blow out when using the disposables, we have not had any leaks/blow outs with the lil joeys. The double gussets really help hold it all in. I find it to be a way better fit than trying to use the one size especially since she was only 6 pounds 14 oz born and dropped to 6 pounds 2 ounces in the first week. I followed the washing instructions using tide original and I was shocked at how clean they came right out of the wash. They do take a long time to dry since there are no inserts to remove, but it is totally worth it to me. I wish I had purchased more lil joeys! My husband is even on board with cloth since we started using the lil joeys.
