They work very well, most of the time. Although, they will leak if your toddler pees a lot at one time. They appear to be comfortable. Toddler doesn't act like they bother her. Although she is a hefty child, so we had to stretch the leg holes a little to fit her. And she's only 35 lbs. So, I'm not sure if they really would fit a toddler up to 40 lbs as advertised.
Lil Learners are very soft and trim! They are not bulky at all. It is great you can use them as swimming diapers and training pants! I understand that they are not able to hold as much as a disposable pullup diaper since these are training pants that are more like underwear with insurance for a little accident or two. Definitely better and more absorbant than the regular cotton underwear trainers. The outer waterproof breathable TPU and hidden absorbancy has these Lil Learners set for success and I can't wait to use these for starting ***** training later. Great quality and design! I love Tokidoki prints and am so glad I added Lil Learners to our stash!
Fit great on my 25 lb 2 yo! She can pull them up and down and they have snaps on the side, which is great because we haven't mastered the dreaded ****, and pulling down her legs is less than desired. Great when we leave the house, because I don't have to change her entire outfit every time she misses and getting to the ***** quickly enough isn't always doable. Decent absorbancy, but it isn't a diaper, so if they decide to empty a full bladder (hello regression when we were sick!)it will leak at the legs. She loves the toilet down and was super excited to wear them. They don't register as a diaper to her at all, though I was initially concerned about that since it feels the same on the outside and has snaps.
